Getting AVG to allow Various Flyff Files

Post by BurgerKun on Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:24 pm

What is AVG?:
AVG is a anti-virus guard software that protects the users system there is a free version and a full version. The most updated version is AVG 2011.

This Guide will:
  • Help you resolve Alerts and the blocking of files via AVG detection of a Virus

  • Include Picture Guides (messy photos but still useful)

  • Teach you how to add exceptions on your standard AVG 2011 Software

Step One:
Getting an Alert after a scan or just that AVG detects the "trojan Horse" will give you a screen. such as the one below. (i didn't manage to get any of the alert screens since mosto f my files are on exception and i cant get them to pop up)

Step 2:

Open your AVG interface. then move towards the overall button on the right hand side and click on that and then click Resident Shield.

Alternatively you can just click near the top and on Components and then Resident Shield

Step 3:

Proceed and Click the Manage Exceptions Button.

Step 4:
Press Add File button and Select your files. then click Apply and then Ok.

Done.

I hope this guide helps those AVG users out there if Any ^^
